Why this exists

Your three.
Your way.

The same small punnets we take to market, now online. Mix and match any three for £10: a favourite three times over, or one of each to find what you like. Cut for your order in Perthshire and sent out the same day, or collect from the farm Wednesday to Friday.

How to use them

Scatter, don't cook.

01 Sprinkle it on what you're already eating Eggs, toast, soup, salad, a curry, a sandwich. This is not a recipe you have to follow — it is a handful of something alive on top of whatever was happening anyway.
02 Keep it sealed, in the fridge Straight into the fridge in its punnet with the lid on. Handled that way it will typically hold for 7 to 10 days, depending on variety.
03 Add it at the end, not the start Heat undoes most of what makes microgreens worth eating. Scatter them over hot food once it is off the heat, rather than cooking them into it.
What you can choose

Six punnets,
pick any three.

Our five core microgreens on their own, plus a small Fusion Mix of all five. Small Fusion Mix 45g · Pea, Sunflower and Rambo Radish 40g · Broccoli and Red Cabbage 30g.

Broccoli The sulforaphane one. Carries glucoraphanin, which converts to sulforaphane the moment you chew it.
Red cabbage The most-studied microgreen of the lot, and the variety behind most of the published nutrient-density research.
Rambo radish Deep purple and properly peppery. Another brassica, noted in the literature for vitamin E and anthocyanins.
Pea Sweet and green. The plant-protein contributor, and noted for vitamin K.
Sunflower Nutty and substantial. Noted for a fuller amino acid profile than most greens, plus vitamin E and iron.
Freshness and delivery

From tray to table,
usually inside a day.

The whole journey, from your order landing to the punnet going in your fridge.

01 We cut it for your order Nothing is grown speculatively and nothing is cut in advance. Your punnet is filled from a tray that was still growing that morning.
02 Local orders — often within hours If you are near us in Perthshire, the gap between cutting and your kitchen is frequently a matter of hours. It is difficult to get fresher than that without growing it yourself.
03 Posted orders — straight out, chilled Packed into insulated chilled packaging immediately after cutting and sent the same day, so the cold chain holds all the way to your door.
04 Then seven to ten days in your fridge Because it never sat in a packhouse, a lorry or a distribution centre, it arrives with almost all of its life still ahead of it.
The evidence

Why microgreens, and not just more salad?

Under 24hrs from cutting to most customers, and often just a few hours locally. Supermarket salad is typically days old before it reaches the shelf
7–10 days in the fridge, sealed — because none of that shelf life was spent in transit before you got it

Common questions

Before you
order.

How long will they actually last?

7 to 10 days in the fridge, sealed in the punnet, depending on variety. Fusion, pea and sunflower are the hardiest. None of that shelf life gets used up before you receive them, because they're cut for your order and go out the same day. Always give them a quick check before eating.

How quickly do they reach me?

Typically within 24 hours of being cut, and often just a few hours if you are local to us in Perthshire. Posted orders are packed into insulated chilled packaging straight after harvest and sent the same day, so they stay cold the whole way.

Do I need to wash them?

We recommend a quick rinse before use, as you would with any fresh produce. In all honesty, we tend to eat them straight from the punnet — they are grown indoors, off the ground, with no pesticides and no soil splash. Your call.

What do I actually do with them?

Treat them as a topping rather than an ingredient. On eggs, avocado toast, soup, dhal, a jacket potato, in a sandwich, over a curry once it is plated. They want to go on at the end, not into the pan — heat degrades the compounds you bought them for.

There is no technique to learn here. If you can scatter, you can use microgreens.

Which three should I pick?

New to microgreens? Pea shoots are sweet and easy, sunflower is nutty, and radish brings the pepper. Want a bit of everything? Make one of them the small Fusion Mix.

Is the punnet recyclable?

Yes — it is rPET, which is recycled plastic and recyclable again. We would rather not use plastic at all, and we keep looking, but nothing we have tested yet protects a living leaf in transit the way this does. When something better exists we will move to it.

What if I'm away when they arrive?

If you subscribe, pause it — any time, no minimum, no fee. Fresh produce sitting on a doorstep for a week helps nobody. If it is a one-off order, drop us a message before we cut and we will move it to the following week.
